Wizz Air Makes Vaccine Mandatory for Cabin Crew

All employees working in airplane cabins with Hungarian discount airline Wizz Air are expected to be vaccinated against the coronavirus by December 1, the airline said on Wednesday.

 

In specific instances, the vaccine can be replaced with regular antibody and PCR tests, the statement said. The measure is designed to ensure the health and safety of passengers and staff, as well as uninterrupted service, it said. Wizz Air concluded the 2020-2021 financial year with 576 million euros in the red, against a 281 million euro profit in 2019.
