Coca-Cola is partnering with online grocery store kifli.hu which will deliver the products to its customers and collect feedback. General Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, László Békefi said product development was necessary as consumers expects sustainability and environmental awareness. Coca-Cola will spend almost 600 million forints in 2021 to replace the plastic packaging of boxed multipack products with cardboard, he added. The recyclable paper bottles were developed by Denmark’s Paper Bottle Company but the development process is ongoing and costs will be finalised later.
